Boscombe Musical Trail

Introduction:

With the summer season rapidly approaching, creating and displaying virtual environments of the fantastic tourist attractions will increase visitor numbers and income for local businesses.

Benefits:

Advertising – The virtual environment can advertise the fun, free musical trail to both local people and tourists. This will raise awareness of the attraction, increasing visitors to the vicinity, benefiting businesses.

Planning – Visitors to Boscombe seafront will be aware beforehand of the fantastic trail available meaning they can plan the activity into their day. This can result in greater customer experience and satisfaction, leading to return visits to the area.

Organisation – Managers have a visual of the musical trail in their office, saving the time and transport costs of visiting the activity location, allowing for swift planning and decisions to be made.

Project Content:

When hovering over the link to the next panorama, the name of the musical instrument is displayed to inform the viewer of where they are moving to, increasing the user experience of the virtual environment. A blue colouring scheme of the 360° links and control bar was specifically selected to match the painting of the pier.
